The Oppo K13 Turbo series is confirmed to launch in India on August 11, 2025. Oppo has been teasing the launch of the K13 Turbo series, revealing key specifications and features. The series, aimed at mobile gamers and power users, will consist of the Oppo K13 Turbo and Oppo K13 Turbo Pro models.
Pricing and Availability
The Oppo K13 Turbo series is expected to be priced under Rs. 40,000 in India. While the exact pricing and storage variants are yet to be revealed, the base variant of the Oppo K13 Turbo may start around Rs 25,000, and the K13 Turbo Pro may start around Rs 30,000. The devices will be available on Flipkart, with a dedicated microsite already live on the e-commerce platform.
Key Features and Specifications
Both the Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro will feature a 6.8-inch 1.5K flat AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1600 nits of peak brightness. They are also expected to have IPX8 and IPX9 water resistance ratings and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
A standout feature of the Oppo K13 Turbo series is its cooling system, which includes a built-in cooling fan. This is the first for any Indian phone. The fan spins at up to 18,000 rpm and activates based on the temperature and load on the device. It is designed to provide active airflow to manage internal temperatures, especially during gaming. In addition to the fan, the phones will also have a 7,000 sq mm vapor chamber and a 19,000 sq mm graphite layer for thermal heat management. Oppo claims that the cooling system can lead to a temperature drop of two to four degrees Celsius even under heavy load.
The Oppo K13 Turbo Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. Oppo claims that this processor offers a 31% improvement in CPU performance and a 49% improvement in GPU performance compared to the previous generation. The Oppo K13 Turbo, on the other hand, will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 SoC. This chipset is claimed to provide a 41% improvement in multi-core performance and a 40% decrease in energy consumption. It is paired with an Arm G720 MC7 GPU, which is said to achieve a 25% higher peak graphics performance.
The Oppo K13 Turbo series is also teased to support several AI-backed features. The Oppo K13 Turbo will come with an NPU 880, which is claimed to provide 40% better AI efficiency. Both phones are confirmed to come with active and passive cooling units.
Other expected specifications include a 50MP dual camera setup, a 16MP selfie camera, a 7000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, and Android 15-based FuntouchOS 15. The phones will also have Wi-Fi 7, 5G, and Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity features.
Design and Colors
The Oppo K13 Turbo Pro will be available in Silver Knight, Purple Phantom, and Midnight Maverick colors. The Oppo K13 Turbo will also come in Purple Phantom and Midnight Maverick, with a White Knight option as well. The smartphones also feature dynamic RGB lighting around the Storm Engine fan.
