To commemorate the 62nd birth anniversary of the late legendary actress Sridevi, Divya Khossla paid tribute with a heartfelt dance performance to Sridevi's iconic song "Na Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai" from the movie ChaalBaaz (1989).

Khossla posted a fun video on her Instagram account, where she is dressed in a simple salwar kameez, sans makeup, and portrays a maid. She grooves to the upbeat song, using a mop as a prop while cleaning the floor.

Khossla expressed her admiration for Sridevi in a heartfelt note accompanying the video: "Sridevi Mam has always been my inspiration. On her birth anniversary, here's a small tribute to her from my film #EkChaturNaar on her iconic song 'Na Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai'. Grateful beyond words for the chance to celebrate my forever favorite with this performance! Her magic lives on ...PS: Kisi ke haath na aayegi ye ladki".

The video quickly gained traction, with many speculating whether this was part of a larger tribute, a promotional teaser, or even footage from her next film. Khossla's interpretation of the song exudes a similar endearing energy and liveliness that Sridevi was known for. She brings her own twist to the performance while remaining faithful to the original mood of the song, radiating a classic Bollywood aura.

Sridevi, known as the "First Female Superstar of Indian Cinema", began her career as a child actor at the age of 4 and went on to become one of the most adored performers in India. Her ability to light up the screen with comedy, romance, drama, or dance made her a rare talent. Sridevi's influence continues to inspire performers across generations.

Boney Kapoor, Sridevi's husband, also commemorated her birth anniversary by sharing a cherished memory from 1990. He posted a throwback picture from Sridevi's 27th birthday party in Chennai, revealing that he had jokingly wished her a "happy 26th birthday," which she initially mistook for teasing.

Ultra Play, an OTT platform, is celebrating Sridevi's life and legacy with a curated film collection called "Remembering Sridevi".

Sridevi's career spanned across Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu cinema. She was known for her versatility and charm on screen and was honored with the Padma Shri in 2013. Sridevi passed away on February 24, 2018, in Dubai due to accidental drowning. Sridevi's daughters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, are now building their own careers in Bollywood, carrying on her legacy in the film industry. Janhvi is preparing for her upcoming film Param Sundari with Sidharth Malhotra, scheduled for release on August 29, 2025.

Meanwhile, Divya Khossla is preparing for the release of her upcoming film Ek Chatur Naar, a comedy thriller with Neil Nitin Mukesh, scheduled to release in cinemas on September 12, 2025. The film is directed and produced by Umesh Shukla, Ashish Wagh, and Zeeshan Ahmad.
