Kieffer Moore, Wrexham's new striker, has declared that the team will harness the negativity and doubts surrounding their recent performances as motivation to improve. Following their promotion to the Sky Bet Championship, Wrexham has experienced a mixed start to the season, including a recent 2-2 draw against Sheffield Wednesday after surrendering a two-goal lead. This result, coupled with earlier defeats to Southampton and West Brom, has led to some criticism and negativity directed towards the club, particularly on social media.

Moore, who recently joined Wrexham from Sheffield United, acknowledged the external pressure and the sentiment from some who "want them to fail". However, he emphasized that the team views this as a source of fuel and determination. "Of course, us players and staff know that," Moore stated, referring to the external negativity. "It's something we can use really. Pressure is a privilege, to have that on your shoulders and to wear the shirt is a massive honour".

The Welsh international, who scored twice in the draw against Sheffield Wednesday, is confident that Wrexham will overcome their early-season struggles. "Each and every person will use that to improve the team and the results will come. I can promise that," Moore asserted. He added, "I know what this club wants to achieve and we're all working really hard to do that".

Moore's arrival at Wrexham is expected to bring experience and leadership to the team. The 32-year-old striker has a proven track record in the EFL Championship, with 200 appearances and two promotions under his belt with AFC Bournemouth and Ipswich Town. Moore also featured at the FIFA World Cup 2022 for Wales.

"I want to be that experienced leader and bring a lot to the team," Moore said upon signing for Wrexham. "My work ethic is one of my strongest assets and I want to be someone that can help drive the team forward".

Despite the initial setbacks, Moore believes that it will take time for the new players to integrate and for the team to fully gel. "There's new faces in the building. It is going to take time to gel. Ultimately we need to do that quicker," Moore explained. He also expressed his determination to continue putting himself in goal-scoring positions.

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson is optimistic about Moore's impact on the team. "We're delighted to welcome Kieffer to the Club," Parkinson said. "He's a player with a lot of Championship and international experience and we're looking forward to working with him".

Wrexham fans will be hoping that Moore's positive attitude and goal-scoring ability will help the team turn their season around and prove their doubters wrong.
