The excitement surrounding Ajay Devgn's "Son of Sardaar 2" is palpable, and recent glimpses from the set have only amplified the anticipation. Mrunal Thakur, one of the lead actors in the film, recently shared a sneak peek from the movie's shoot, sending fans into a frenzy.

While details of exactly what Mrunal shared remain somewhat vague across reports, the buzz it created is undeniable. The image or video, presumably posted on her social media, offered a glimpse into the filming process, igniting curiosity and speculation about the film's plot and her character.

"Son of Sardaar 2" is a spiritual sequel to the 2012 action-comedy "Son of Sardaar," which starred Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, and Juhi Chawla. The original film was a remake of the Telugu film "Maryada Ramanna" and was a box office success. The sequel is directed by Vijay Kumar Arora.

The cast of "Son of Sardaar 2" includes Ajay Devgn, Mrunal Thakur, Sanjay Dutt, and Sanjay Mishra. Ravi Kishan, Kubbra Sait, and Vindu Dara Singh are also part of the cast. Initial reports suggested Sanjay Dutt was unable to join the UK schedule due to visa issues, however, it was later confirmed that he would still be a part of the film.

Filming has taken place in various locations, including Edinburgh, London, and Chandigarh, India. In early August 2024, Ajay Devgn shared a video featuring Mrunal Thakur from a Gurdwara, marking the beginning of the film's production. Mrunal Thakur has also shared images from Mumbai indicating she was shooting for the film there as well. Kubbra Sait completed her dubbing work for the movie in April 2025.

"Son of Sardaar 2" is slated for release on July 25, 2025, thirteen years after the original film. The film is expected to be an action-comedy.
