Anurag Basu's "Metro... In Dino," a spiritual successor to his 2007 film "Life in a... Metro," continues its box office journey, showcasing the complexities of love, heartbreak, and hope in a bustling urban setting. On Day 8, the film earned ₹2.25 crore, bringing the total to ₹29.10 crore. The Hindi occupancy rate on the second Friday was 21.02%, with evening and night shows registering higher footfall.

The overall Hindi occupancy on Day 9 was 44.84%. Morning shows had 18.63% occupancy, which increased to 47.86% in the afternoon, 56.28% in the evening, and 56.59% during night shows. Chennai recorded the highest occupancy at 80.33%, indicating strong regional support. Bengaluru also showed strong urban engagement.
