Sandeep Reddy Vanga has confirmed that filming for Spirit, starring Prabhas and Triptii Dimri, is set to commence in September. This announcement has generated considerable excitement among fans, eager to witness the collaboration between Prabhas and Vanga for the first time.

Vanga revealed that the film will be shot on a continuous, non-stop schedule. This approach aims to maintain the story's flow and the character's consistency. Spirit is produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures on a grand scale and is slated for a 2027 release.

Spirit marks the first collaboration between Prabhas, known for his role in Baahubali, and Sandeep Reddy Vanga, acclaimed for directing Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh, and Animal. The film is highly anticipated, especially since Vanga's films have been major successes. Prabhas, who hasn't had a significant hit since Baahubali 2, is expected to make a strong comeback with this film. There is anticipation that Spirit will showcase Prabhas in a new action-oriented avatar, reminiscent of his earlier films.

Initially, Deepika Padukone was considered for the female lead, but she exited the project due to disagreements regarding work hours and payroll. Padukone reportedly advocated for an eight-hour workday, which the filmmakers couldn't accommodate. Triptii Dimri, who gained recognition for her role in Vanga's Animal, has since been cast as the female lead.

Spirit is touted to be a cop drama with a strong emotional core. While the storyline is currently under wraps, it is expected to blend intense action with deep emotions, a signature style of Vanga, appealing to a global audience. The film's music is composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga has reportedly asked Prabhas to dedicate considerable time to Spirit, which requires demanding physical and stylistic transformations. Prabhas is expected to complete his ongoing commitments before fully immersing himself in Spirit. Currently, Prabhas is occupied with his other film, The Raja Saab, and is expected to join the Spirit shoot soon after.
