The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G is tipped to launch in India at a starting price of ₹18,999, making it one of Samsung's most competitively priced 5G smartphones in the Indian market. It is expected to be available in three variants: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB models could be priced at ₹20,499 and ₹23,499, respectively.
Pre-registration has already started on Samsung India's official website. The Galaxy A17 5G was launched in Europe on August 6 with a price of EUR 239 (roughly Rs. 24,393) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration.
Design and Display
The Galaxy A17 5G features a sleek and slim design, measuring just 7.5mm in thickness and weighing around 192g. It sports a glass fiber back and a plastic frame. The phone is expected to come in Black, Gray, and Blue color options. The device features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The display has a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 800 nits, ensuring smooth visuals and vibrant colors. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
