Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has reportedly sold one of his apartments in Mumbai for ₹8.10 crore. The property registration documents reveal the transaction was finalized in August 2025.
The apartment is situated in Lokhandwala Minerva, a luxury high-rise in the Mahalaxmi area of South Mumbai. Mahalaxmi is known for its connectivity to commercial hubs like Lower Parel, Worli, and Nariman Point. The apartment spans a carpet area of 1,247 square feet (116 sq.m.) with a built-up area of approximately 1,497 square feet (139.07 sq. m.). The deal includes two car parking spaces. The buyer paid a stamp duty of ₹48.60 lakh and registration charges of ₹30,000 for the transaction.
Records indicate Sonu Sood acquired the property in 2012 for ₹5.16 crore.
Sonu Sood began his Bollywood journey with "Shaheed-E-Azam" in 2002, playing Bhagat Singh. He gained recognition for roles in films like "Dabangg" (2010) and "Simmba" (2018). Besides Hindi cinema, he has worked in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada films.
Sonu Sood owns other properties in Mumbai, including a luxurious 4-BHK apartment in Andheri estimated to be worth ₹20 crore. In 2020, he mortgaged eight properties, including two shops and six flats in Juhu, to raise ₹10 crore for COVID-19 relief efforts.
Sonu Sood's efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic earned him praise and the SDG Special Humanitarian Action Award by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). He was also appointed as the State Icon of Punjab by the Election Commission of India.
