During a promotional event in Hyderabad for his upcoming film Madharaasi, directed by AR Murugadoss, Sivakarthikeyan shared how Aarthy stood by him during his struggling days, before he had a proper salary or any guarantee of success in the film industry.

Sivakarthikeyan was born on February 17, 1985, in Singampunari, Sivaganga district, Tamil Nadu. He completed his schooling in Tiruchirappalli and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering and a Master of Business Administration. Before entering the film industry, Sivakarthikeyan began his career in television as a mimicry artist and reality show host. He gained recognition after winning the comedy reality TV show Kalakka Povathu Yaaru? in 2006. He hosted several shows on Star Vijay, including Jodi Number One, Airtel Super Singer Junior, and Adhu Idhu Edhu.

Sivakarthikeyan and Aarthy's love story began in school and blossomed into marriage on August 27, 2010. The couple has three children. Sivakarthikeyan has often acknowledged Aarthy's role in his life, recognizing her as a pillar of support throughout his journey.
