Apple is gearing up to unveil its latest flagship smartphones, the iPhone 17 series, at its "Awe Dropping" event on September 9, 2025. The launch event will take place at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.

Replacing the discontinued Plus line, the iPhone 17 Air is rumored to launch at approximately Rs. 99,990. Another source suggests the iPhone 17 Pro Max could start at Rs 1,39,900.

The iPhone 17 series is rumored to feature slimmer designs, iOS 26, and Apple's A19 chipset for enhanced performance and efficiency. All models are expected to have 120Hz ProMotion OLED displays. The iPhone 17 Air may sport a 6.6-inch OLED panel and a single 48MP camera, positioning it as a more affordable premium option.

There are speculations that the iPhone 17 Pro Max might be priced around $1,499, which is approximately Rs. 1.64 lakh in India. This would make it the most expensive iPhone ever launched. It is rumored to have Apple's largest-ever display of nearly 6.9 inches with a 120 Hz LTPO ProMotion OLED, a powerful A19 Pro chip built on 3nm technology, up to 12 GB RAM, 256 GB storage, and a triple-48 MP rear camera.

The iPhone 17 lineup is rumored to debut with an upgraded Dynamic Island. The standard and Pro editions are likely to receive advanced interactive functions and refined visual elements, powered by the next-generation iOS.

All iPhone 17 models are expected to receive a major front camera upgrade, moving from a 12-megapixel lens to a new 24-megapixel sensor. The iPhone 17 Pro Max is tipped to be the first iPhone with three 48-megapixel rear cameras and may support 8K video recording.

The iPhone 17 Pro models may have an aluminum frame, a change from the titanium used in previous models. The Apple logo on the back of the iPhone 17 Pro might be placed lower, potentially requiring adjustments to the MagSafe magnets.

The "Awe Dropping" invite from Apple has sparked speculation about possible color options for the iPhone 17 Pro, with dark blue and orange hues possibly hinting at five color variants: black, white, gray, dark blue, and a bold orange. The standard iPhone 17 may come in black, white, pewter gray, green, pink, and light blue.
