Amidst swirling rumors of marital discord, Sunita Ahuja, wife of Bollywood actor Govinda, was recently spotted at veteran actor Dharmendra's residence for Ganesh Darshan. This visit has caught the attention of many, especially given the recent speculation surrounding her marriage with Govinda.

The visit to Dharmendra's house saw Sunita accompanied by her son, Yashvardhan Ahuja. Pictures circulating online captured warm moments between the mother-son duo and Dharmendra, who appeared delighted to host them. Adding a touch of nostalgia to the occasion, Sunita and Yashvardhan were also photographed alongside Hema Malini and her daughter, Esha Deol.

Sunita's admiration for Dharmendra is well-known. She has often referred to him as her teenage crush and has even stated that he was a significant reason behind her decision to marry Govinda. According to her, Govinda reminded her of Dharmendra, and she even confessed this to the veteran actor himself. She once shared, "Maine Govinda se shaadi hi isliye ki because he resembles Dharam ji. Dono Punjabi hai". She also mentioned that Govinda's performance in the movie Sandwich further solidified her feelings.

The Ganesh Darshan at Dharmendra's residence occurred amidst ongoing rumors about Sunita and Govinda's marriage. However, the couple has been actively dismissing these rumors. During the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, Sunita addressed the media, stating firmly that people should not believe such talk unless they hear it directly from her or Govinda. She emphasized the closeness between her and Govinda, declaring, "If something had happened, then we would not have been this close today… No one can separate us, not even if God comes down from heaven. My Govinda is only mine".

Govinda's manager, Shashi Sinha, has also refuted the divorce rumors, calling them "outdated and misleading". He clarified that previous issues had been resolved and that the family was celebrating the Ganesh Chaturthi festival together. Similarly, Govinda's lawyer dismissed the reports as exaggerated, although he had admitted earlier that Sunita had filed for divorce six months prior, but the issues were later resolved.

Adding to the reassurance, Govinda and Sunita made a public appearance together during the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, further dispelling any doubts about their relationship. Sunita looked elegant in a purple saree, while Govinda sported a red kurta. They were seen distributing sweets to the paparazzi and celebrating with their son, Yashvardhan.

In a statement to the media, Sunita firmly said, "Please don't listen to anyone, whether it's the lawyer or the manager. It is not necessary to listen to anyone other than Govinda and me… When I feel like it, or if there's something to share, I will personally give my statement to the media".

Govinda and Sunita have been married since 1987 and have two children: Tina and Yashvardhan. While Tina made her Bollywood debut in 2015 with Second Hand Husband, Yashvardhan is also preparing for his acting debut. The couple's recent appearances and statements indicate a united front, reassuring fans of their enduring commitment to each other.
