The actress, who recently returned to the spotlight after the birth of her first child in November, made a bold statement in a "near-naked" gown that has everyone talking.

The gown, a design from Armani Privé's Spring/Summer 2025 couture collection, is a sheer, floor-length masterpiece adorned with intricate beading, crystals, and gems. The embellishments, featuring geometric, floral, and paisley patterns, were strategically placed to offer a degree of coverage while still showcasing Robbie's figure. The dress featured delicate spaghetti straps that formed a strappy design at the back, connected by a crystal-encrusted circle. The sides were also plunging and open, adding to the revealing nature of the ensemble.

What truly turned heads was the gown's completely open back and the fact that Robbie wore a shimmering silver thong underneath, which was visible through the sheer fabric. This daring choice, coupled with the dress's overall sheerness, has been described as Robbie's "most naked look to date".

Styled by Andrew Mukamal, who also orchestrated Robbie's iconic Barbie press tour wardrobe, the look is being hailed as a modern and glamorous take on vintage fashion. Mukamal seems to be crafting a theme of "modern glam with a vintage twist" for Robbie's current press appearances. Earlier in the day, Robbie was seen at a photocall in a vintage Thierry Mugler ensemble, a powder pink archival outfit from the designer's Fall 1998 "Lingerie" collection.

Robbie kept her accessories minimal to ensure the focus remained on the dress. She wore silver peep-toe heels from Aquazzura, chunky diamond stud earrings, and her diamond engagement ring from husband Tom Ackerley. Her hair was styled in an elegant updo, and her makeup featured a bronzed complexion and a nude peach lip.

The choice of dress is also seen as a possible homage to the late Giorgio Armani, who recently passed away at the age of 91.

While Robbie's dress certainly stole the show, her A Big Bold Beautiful Journey co-star, Colin Farrell, opted for a more covered-up look, wearing a tan trench coat over a black suit, white shirt, and black tie.

A Big Bold Beautiful Journey is slated to debut in theaters on September 19 and also stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Lily Rabe, and Jodie Turner-Smith. The film tells the story of two single strangers, Sarah and David, who relive important moments from their past.
