Park Seo-joon and Won Ji-an are set to reunite in the upcoming romantic comedy series, "Surely Tomorrow," which will be available for streaming on Prime Video. The series, previously known as "Waiting for Gyeongdo", promises a heartfelt and nostalgic journey of love, loss, and second chances.

"Surely Tomorrow" will follow the intertwined lives of Lee Kyeong-do, played by Park Seo-joon, and Seo Ji-woo, portrayed by Won Ji-an. The story begins with their first encounter and subsequent romance in their early twenties, only to be separated by life's circumstances. They reunite in their late twenties, giving love another try, but once again, they go their separate ways. Years later, fate intervenes, bringing them back together in an unexpected turn of events. Kyeong-do is now a journalist covering a sensational scandal, while Ji-woo is the wife of the man at the center of it. Amidst public scrutiny and their shared history, their story unfolds into a surprising third chapter.

The series is directed by Lim Hyun-ook, known for his work on "King the Land" and "Reflection of You", and written by Yu Young-ah, the writer behind "Thirty-Nine" and "Divorce Attorney Shin". "Surely Tomorrow" is expected to blend humor with heartfelt moments, capturing the bittersweet nature of love and second chances.

Park Seo-joon, who visited Manila in July 2025, is well-known for his roles in "Itaewon Class," "The Marvels," and "Jinny's Kitchen". Won Ji-an has appeared in "Squid Game" seasons 2 and 3, "HeartBeat," and "D.P.".

"Surely Tomorrow" will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories, with new episodes released weekly. While a specific premiere date is yet to be announced, the series is slated to air in the second half of 2025.

The drama explores the complexities of their love story, alternating between the present and flashbacks to their college years when they shared an on-again, off-again relationship. Park Seo-joon's character, Lee Kyeong-do, is portrayed as a relatable office worker with a grounded personality, working as an entertainment reporter for Dongwoon Ilbo. Won Ji-an plays Seo Ji-woo, the glamorous second daughter of Jarim Apparel, who appears confident but struggles with her husband's actions. A scandalous affair exposed by her ex, Kyeong-do, leads to her divorce, and she finds herself reminiscing about the happiest love of her life.

Park Seo-joon has several other projects in the pipeline, including the romantic comedy "Waiting for Gyeongdo," the darker role of Park Eon-jin in "I Am a Sinner," and a cameo in "Bloodhounds 2". "Waiting for Gyeongdo" follows Lee Gyeong-do, an entertainment journalist with a complicated love life, and is directed by Im Hyun-Wook. In "I Am a Sinner," Park Seo-joon will portray a character seeking revenge after a traumatic event. He is also reportedly making a cameo in the second season of "Bloodhounds".

"Surely Tomorrow" joins a growing catalog of Korean dramas available on Prime Video, offering viewers a diverse range of entertainment.
