The Bohra community in Colombo organized a prayer at their Hussaini mosque, offering blessings for Modi's health and continued leadership.

Across Sri Lanka, various religious communities organized special prayers to mark the occasion. Prayers were also scheduled at the Mahabodhi Society in Colombo, where monks invoked blessings from the Dhamma. In the Eastern Province, special prayers were planned at the historic Thirukoneswaram Temple in Trincomalee for the Indian Prime Minister. Similarly, prayers were held at the multi-religious sacred site of Kataragama.

These observances highlight the respect for the Indian leader and the enduring bonds between the peoples of India and Sri Lanka. Prime Minister Modi has played a central role in deepening regional connectivity and cultural exchanges and was honored as Sri Lanka Mitra Vibhishana earlier this year.
