Fashion designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla recently shared their views on several Bollywood star kids, offering insights into their personalities, talents, and career paths. In a recent interview on The Namrata Zakaria Show, the designers, who have closely observed these young individuals, spoke about Ibrahim Ali Khan, Naomika Saran, and others.
Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, was a particular focus of praise. The designer duo referred to him as a "born star" with a unique charisma. They went so far as to call him a "new-age Salman Khan," highlighting his inherent "pizzazz". Despite the lukewarm reception of Nadaniyaan, his debut OTT film with Khushi Kapoor, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla expressed confidence in Ibrahim's potential, possibly influenced by his improved performance in Prithviraj Sukumaran's Sarzameen. Even before his Bollywood debut, Ibrahim has been a favorite among designers. In 2019, he showcased Abu & Sandeep's collection, "Mard", displaying regal looks in striped sherwanis and bandhgalas.
Turning to Naomika Saran, granddaughter of Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia, the designers had equally warm words. Abu Jani commended her upbringing, noting her polite and respectful demeanor. Sandeep Khosla added that Naomika is "very attractive, very polite, and very well brought up," while also pointing out that she is a normal teenage girl. He also commented on the independence of today's youth, observing that Naomika makes her own decisions, unlike previous generations.
The designers also commented on Agastya Nanda, grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, who will be seen in Sriram Raghavan's war drama Ikkis. Sandeep Khosla believes Agastya is in good hands with a fantastic director like Sriram Raghavan. Abu Jani echoed this sentiment, wishing him the best and affirming that he possesses the talent to succeed.
Furthermore, Akshay Kumar's son, Aarav Bhatia, is reportedly pursuing fashion design at a top college. Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim's sister, was lauded for her intelligence, with mentions of her attending university in New York and her past interest in law.
The designers' insights highlight the diverse paths these star kids are taking, whether it be acting, fashion, or academics. While some have already made their Bollywood debuts with varying degrees of success, others are carving their own niche in different fields. The comments from Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla provide a glimpse into the personalities and aspirations of these young individuals as they navigate the spotlight.
