Pawan Kalyan's OG Day 8: Action Drama Box Office Performance Nears Impressive 170 Crore Milestone.

Pawan Kalyan's action drama "They Call Him OG" continues its impressive run at the box office, inching closer to the ₹170 crore mark in India. On its eighth day, coinciding with the Dussehra holiday, the film earned ₹7.50 crore, demonstrating a steady performance. The total domestic collection now stands at ₹169.10 crore.

The movie had a phenomenal opening, collecting ₹63.75 crore on its first day. The film maintained consistent numbers throughout its opening weekend. For the first four days, "They Call Him OG" raked in ₹18.50 crore each day. While there was a dip on Monday with ₹7.40 crore, the film has shown resilience, maintaining strong collections.

"They Call Him OG" enjoyed high occupancy rates, especially in Telugu-speaking regions. On October 2, 2025, the film registered an overall 43.78% Telugu occupancy. Morning shows reported a 21.30% turnout, which increased to 57.26% by the evening, indicating the film's sustained appeal throughout the day. Night shows also maintained momentum at 49.38%.

The Hindi version of the film is gradually gaining traction outside its core market, though it has not replicated the Telugu version's success. On October 2, 2025, the Hindi version recorded 9.84% overall occupancy. While morning shows recorded only 1.33%, the evening and night slots saw improved turnouts of 12.58% and 17.52% respectively.

Despite facing competition from the Kannada film 'Kantara: Chapter 1', "They Call Him OG" has maintained a strong box office presence.

Directed by Sujeeth, "They Call Him OG" stars Pawan Kalyan as Ojas Gambheera, a Mumbai gangster who makes a comeback after many years. Emraan Hashmi marks his Tollywood debut as the antagonist, Omi Bhau. The cast also includes Priyanka Arul Mohan and Prakash Raj.

Before its release, "They Call Him OG" generated ₹21 crore from premiere shows, marking the highest amount for premiere shows in India. The film has surpassed Prabhas's "Saaho" in terms of collections and has become the 7th highest-grossing Telugu film.

The film's success isn't limited to India; it's also performing well in the North American market, with collections reaching $5.27 million. With the Dussehra holiday and the weekend approaching, "They Call Him OG" is expected to add another ₹20-25 crore to its total earnings.
