The upcoming film #Nani34, a collaboration between Natural Star Nani and director Sujeeth, was officially launched today, October 2nd, 2025, with a grand puja ceremony on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra. The event was held in Hyderabad and attended by notable personalities, including veteran actor Venkatesh Daggubati, who clapped for the muhurtham shot.
Currently known as #Nani34, the film is being produced by Venkat Boyanapalli under the Niharika Entertainment banner, in association with Nani's Unanimous Productions. This marks a change from the project's initial announcement in April 2024 as "Bloody Romeo" under DVV Entertainment, which reportedly stepped back due to budget constraints. Niharika Entertainment previously produced Nani's "Shyama Singha Roy".
Director Sujeeth, fresh off the success of his recent blockbuster "OG" (They Call Him OG) starring Pawan Kalyan, has promised a story that blends stylish and breathtaking action with compelling emotion and humor, aiming for a complete cinematic experience. He also teased a never-before-seen character for Nani, who will undergo another makeover for the role. The film is touted to be a witty action entertainer that appeals to fans and audiences alike.
The launch ceremony was a star-studded affair. Nani's father, Rambabu Ghanta, switched on the camera, while directors Rahul Sankrityan, Srikanth Odela, and Shouryuv jointly directed the inaugural shot. Several other film personalities, including Director Ram Jagadeesh and Producer Sudhakar Cherukuri, were also present.
"#Nani34" is expected to be the highest-budgeted film in Nani's career, with top-tier production and technical standards. While further cast and crew details are yet to be revealed, there is speculation that Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran may play the antagonist. Reports suggest that Sujeeth has already narrated the story to Prithviraj, and the actor is impressed with his character.
Nani is currently busy with the shoot of "The Paradise," directed by Srikanth Odela. Shooting for #Nani34 is expected to commence after Nani completes his current project. The makers are planning to release the film towards the end of 2026. While initially reported to be titled "Bloody Romeo," the film might get a new title.
Sujeeth's "OG" was released on September 25, 2025 and marked a significant comeback for Pawan Kalyan. Kalyan expressed his intent to continue the 'OG' world in the time he gets, confirming plans for a sequel or prequel.
