With a career spanning 26 years, Kapoor Khan reflected on how her understanding of wealth has transformed since her early days in the industry. She highlighted a shift in the industry where actors, especially women, are increasingly advocating for equal pay, adding a new dimension to what wealth signifies. She expressed that wealth is now "a lot more than just having money in the bank".

The actress, known for her roles in films like "Jab We Met," stressed that she has always been clear about maintaining her independence as an actor, even after marrying actor Saif Ali Khan. "I always wanted to have my own independence as an actor, even after I got married to Saif. That was one thing which was very, very clear," she stated. She further added, "Today, people want to have an experience of life as well. So I think that comes along the way as you experience work, as you become, you get married, you want to have your own independence. That's what happened with me".

Beyond her career, Kapoor Khan also touched upon her role as a mother, explaining that she aims to enjoy her wealth in the present while also securing the future. Her journey serves as an inspiration to many young women, teaching them the significance of independence and how to responsibly manage their finances.

Currently, Kareena Kapoor Khan is filming for Meghna Gulzar's "Daayra," where she will share the screen with Prithviraj Sukumaran.
