A social media storm has erupted between social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, known as Orry, and "Bigg Boss 15" fame Rajiv Adatia, following comments made by Orry that were perceived as disrespectful towards legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar and singer Falguni Pathak. The feud began after Orry attended a Falguni Pathak concert where he referred to her as "Falguni peacock singing on stage". He also mispronounced Lata Mangeshkar's name as "Lata Mangeshwari" and called her the "queen of Garba".
Rajiv Adatia, who considered Lata Mangeshkar to be like family, took strong exception to Orry's remarks. He expressed his disappointment on social media, stating, "Some things are just not funny! There is a fine line of being funny and disrespecting the legends of our Country!! Lataji was like family to me, and I didn't find it funny! Not one bit!!". Orry responded to Rajiv's criticism with a personal insult, commenting on one of Rajiv's Instagram posts, "Why does this man look like he ate 5 Orrys and poured a bottle of cheap foundation and fake tan on his face?". This prompted a fiery reaction from Rajiv, who didn't hold back in his response.
Rajiv Adatia then slammed Orry in an Instagram story, calling him an "idiot" and questioning his achievements in life. "What have you achieved in life other than to put your hand on people's chests and take photos?" Rajiv wrote. He further criticized Orry's values and character, urging him to stop mentioning legends' names and to "grow up and start acting your age". Adatia also seemed to take a dig at Orry's makeup.

He further added that it is shameful when people mistake popularity for purpose and try to use her name for paid publicity. Rajiv expressed his sadness that morals and integrity are being sold, with people afraid to call out disrespectful behavior for fear of exclusion. He wants Lata Mangeshkar's legacy and music to live on.
