Ranveer Singh recently unveiled the first look poster of Akshaye Khanna from the upcoming spy action thriller "Dhurandhar," heightening anticipation for the film's trailer launch. The trailer is scheduled to be released on November 18, 2025, after an initial postponement.

"Dhurandhar" boasts an ensemble cast, including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun. The film is directed and co-produced by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios.

The unveiling of Akshaye Khanna's first look follows the release of first-look posters featuring Arjun Rampal and R. Madhavan. Ranveer Singh shared Arjun Rampal's poster, calling him the "Angel of Death," while R. Madhavan's character was introduced as the "Charioteer of Karma". The poster of Sanjay Dutt as ‘Jinn’ was also released.

"Dhurandhar" is reportedly inspired by real-life incidents, global conflicts, and covert operations of RAW. The film centers around Ajit Doval, India's top spy, who goes undercover in enemy territory. Ranveer Singh plays a RAW agent, while R. Madhavan embodies a character inspired by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. Akshaye Khanna will be playing a key antagonist in the film.

The trailer launch event was originally scheduled for November 12 but was postponed out of respect for veteran actor Dharmendra's health concerns and the Red Fort blast in Delhi. The film is slated to release on December 5, 2025.

According to sources, "Dhurandhar" has a vast and expansive storyline, with a final runtime of more than 3 hours.

"Dhurandhar" marks Ranveer Singh's return to the big screen after the success of "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani". The film promises a high-octane blend of drama set against the backdrop of a high-stakes intelligence operation.
