Maanvi Gagroo, reflecting on the final season of "Four More Shots Please," shared that the cast experienced a surge of emotions during and after filming the finale. The fourth and final season of the show, which also stars Sayani Gupta, Kirti Kulhari, and Bani J, is set to release on Prime Video on December 19, 2025.
Gagroo recalled that while the cast was initially excited about filming one last season, the reality of saying goodbye sunk in on the last day of the shoot. "I remember on the last day of the shoot, when I was driving to the location, it suddenly hit me — oh my god, I will never play Siddhi again," she said. Maanvi mentioned that reading "final season" written on the poster made the moment feel even more real.
The series, created by Rangita Pritish Nandy and Ishita Pritish Nandy, follows the lives of four unapologetically flawed women as they navigate love, life, and mistakes while discovering themselves. The final season is directed by Arunima Sharma and Neha Parti Matiyani.
Gagroo credited "Four More Shots Please" with expanding her reach as an actor, allowing her to connect with a larger audience through her character, Siddhi. She noted that Siddhi, while cute and bubbly, possessed layers that enabled her to reach a much larger audience.
Looking back, Gagroo said the show reminded her of "Sex and the City" when she was first offered the role and she felt that she needed to be a part of it.
Both Gagroo and Sayani Gupta expressed hope that the show might return in some form in the future, emphasizing that this might not be a "final goodbye". Gupta even suggested that the show could continue for eight to ten seasons, similar to "Sex and the City".
The trailer for the final season teases an emotional and vibrant conclusion to the series, promising a mix of drama, humor, and heartfelt moments. The characters will be seen working on themselves and striving to overcome their weaknesses. The season aims to provide a sense of closure for fans who have followed the characters' journeys since the beginning.
Despite facing criticism over the years, Maanvi defended the show, stating that everyone is entitled to their opinion. She added that she disregards abusive, dangerous, or misogynistic comments, emphasizing the importance of not engaging with negativity on social media.
The final season of "Four More Shots Please!" promises to be a memorable and emotional ride for viewers, celebrating the bond of friendship and the journeys of its four leading ladies.
