Vishal Jethwa, known for his role as Hassan Ali in the action thriller Tiger 3, has recently shared his experiences working alongside Salman Khan in the film. In an interview, Jethwa revealed that he was initially intimidated by Khan's presence on set, which led to some memorable moments of nervousness and even fumbled lines.
Jethwa, who had previously worked as a background dancer for Salman Khan in 2009, found himself sharing screen space with the superstar in Tiger 3. Despite having prior experience on the same set during the filming of Mardaani 3, Jethwa admitted that the aura surrounding Khan made him anxious. He recounted how he struggled to deliver his dialogues smoothly, a stark contrast to his confident performance in Mardaani 3.
"I never fumbled in Mardaani 3, but when it came to working with Salman, I couldn't say a dialogue," Jethwa confessed. He explained that the respect and admiration everyone holds for Khan on set contributed to his nervousness. "Whenever he comes to the set, everyone stands up in respect," Jethwa noted, emphasizing the palpable aura of the superstar.
Despite the initial intimidation, Jethwa found Salman Khan to be incredibly supportive and understanding. Khan, well aware of the impact he has on people, reassured Jethwa with a simple, "Hota hai…". This calm and encouraging attitude helped Jethwa overcome his nervousness and eventually find his rhythm. He also had small conversations with Khan.
Jethwa expressed immense pride in having had the opportunity to work with Salman Khan, admiring him both on and off-screen. He emphasized that any intimidation felt by others is a personal issue and not a reflection of Khan's demeanor. "I will always take pride in saying that I have worked with Salman Khan. I like him not only on-screen, but off-screen as well," Jethwa stated.
Jethwa also shared that he filmed a fight sequence with Khan, but it was ultimately cut from the final version of Tiger 3. Tiger 3, directed by Maneesh Sharma, is the fifth installment in the YRF Spy Universe, following Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai. The film sees Salman Khan reprising his role as super-spy Avinash 'Tiger' Rathore.
In addition, Jethwa hinted at a potential future project with Katrina Kaif.
