Riya made her acting debut in the 2024 Malayalam movie "Cup". However, it was her role as Maya in the recently released horror-comedy "Sarvam Maya" that has truly captured the audience's attention. In "Sarvam Maya", Riya plays the character Maya aka 'Delulu', a friendly neighborhood ghost. "Sarvam Maya" revolves around Prabhendu, who encounters the ghost of Maya.
"Sarvam Maya" has been a commercial success, grossing ₹44 crore globally in just five days. Riya's performance has been praised, with many noting her ability to bring warmth and humor to the character of Maya.
Hridhu Haroon, Riya's brother, has also been making strides in the film industry. Born on June 29, 2001, Hridhu has worked in Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi films. He made his acting debut in the drama series "Crash Course" (2022). He has also starred in films such as "Thugs" (2023), "Mumbaikar" (2023), "Mura" (2024), and "Dude".
