The makers of the highly anticipated film "Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups," starring Yash in the lead role, have unveiled the first look of Nayanthara as Ganga. The poster, released on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, presents Nayanthara in a powerful and intriguing avatar. The film is slated for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026.

In the poster, Nayanthara embodies Ganga with a striking composure, holding a gun, which hints at a fearless and strong character. Set against the backdrop of a grand casino entrance, the setting suggests a world of high stakes, where Ganga is a woman who commands attention and controls her destiny. Her look is completed with high boots and a chunky gold bracelet.

Director Geetu Mohandas shared her perspective on casting Nayanthara, emphasizing her desire to showcase the actress in a way never seen before. She said, "We all know Nayan as a celebrated star with a commanding screen presence and a remarkable career spanning two decades, but in 'Toxic,' audiences will witness a talent that had been quietly waiting to explode". Mohandas added that as the shoot progressed, she observed a close alignment between Nayanthara's personality and the character's soul, highlighting the depth, honesty, restraint, and emotional clarity she brought to the role.

"Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups" marks Yash's return to the big screen after the blockbuster "KGF: Chapter 2". The film has generated considerable buzz and is being produced in both Kannada and English, with plans for dubbed versions in several Indian languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.

The film also features Kiara Advani as Nadia and Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth. The technical team includes cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, music composer Ravi Basrur, and editor Ujwal Kulkarni. "Toxic" is written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.
