Nayanthara as Ganga in Yash's Toxic: First Look Revealed from this Dark Fairytale Project

The first look of Nayanthara as Ganga in the upcoming film "Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups," starring Yash, has been revealed, generating considerable excitement. The film is slated for release on March 19, 2026.

Nayanthara's portrayal of Ganga is already creating a buzz, with the first look depicting her as a powerful and fearless woman. The poster showcases her in a sleek black asymmetrical outfit with a thigh-high slit, exuding confidence as she holds a gun. The backdrop features uniformed men opening ornate doors, suggesting a high-stakes environment. The setting, possibly the entrance of a grand casino, further emphasizes Ganga's commanding presence.

Director Geetu Mohandas expressed her enthusiasm about casting Nayanthara, stating that audiences will witness a previously unseen side of her talent in "Toxic". She emphasized that Nayanthara's own personality closely mirrors the character's soul, bringing depth, honesty, and emotional clarity to the role. Mohandas wanted to portray Nayanthara in a way that she’s never been showcased before.

"Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups" marks Yash's return to the big screen after the blockbuster "KGF: Chapter 2". The film is produced by Venkat K Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. In addition to Nayanthara, the film features Kiara Advani as Nadia and Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth. Akshay Oberoi also plays a key role.

The movie is directed by Geetu Mohandas and is written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas. The technical team includes Rajeev Ravi as cinematographer, Ravi Basrur as music composer, and Ujwal Kulkarni as editor.

"Toxic" is being produced in both Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned for release in several other Indian languages. A teaser released earlier showed Yash smoking a cigar and stepping out of a black car, dressed in a white suit and hat, before entering a pub. The teaser concludes with Yash pouring alcohol over a bar dancer.
