Avni Gupta, the newly crowned Miss Diva Supranational 2025, has expressed that her victory fulfills a lifelong dream of representing India on a global platform. The 22-year-old from Agra, Uttar Pradesh, who balanced a career as an audit professional with her modeling aspirations, will represent India at the Miss Supranational 2026 competition.
Gupta described the win as a dream come true and acknowledged the immense responsibility that comes with representing her country internationally. "I couldn't believe it at first," she said. "But then it hit me that this is not just a win - it's a huge responsibility. I'm representing my country on an international platform, and I'm ready to give 100 percent".
The Miss Diva 2025 competition, which concluded in a grand finale in Mumbai, celebrated talent across beauty, fashion design, and content creation. Alongside Gupta, Avani Kakekochhi was crowned Miss Diva Cosmo 2025 and will represent India at Miss Cosmo 2026. Aishwarya V was named Miss Diva Fashion Designer 2025, and Monica D'souza won the title of Miss Diva Content Creator 2025.
Gupta emphasized the importance of chasing childhood dreams, stating, "If you don't chase your childhood dreams now, you may never do it". In an interview, she shared that she stays grounded by reminding herself why she started her journey, balancing the discipline and responsibility learned from her audit work with the creativity and passion awakened by pageantry.
During the finale, Gupta was asked about the biggest problem women face in India and answered that it was the lack of education, highlighting that girls are still forced into marriage before completing their education in many places. She stated that "As responsible citizens, we must raise our voices whenever we see something wrong".
Gupta credits her mother with teaching her "grace under pressure" and the importance of "quiet resilience". She carries this lesson with her on stage, reminding her to "stay humble, to stay soft, and to trust that sincerity always shines brighter than perfection". She considers the love, support, and blessings she has received as her greatest strength.
The Miss Diva 2025 competition began with nationwide online screenings, auditions, and task submissions, narrowing down thousands of aspirants to the top finalists. The event was hosted by Pooja Bhamrrah and Sachiin Kumbhaar and included runway showcases and celebrity judges. The grand finale will be broadcast on Zoom TV and streamed on Times Play and the Beauty Pageants India YouTube channel.
