BTS, the global K-pop sensation, is set to make their highly-anticipated comeback with their 5th full-length studio album on March 20, 2026. This marks their first group release in three years and nine months, since their anthology album "Proof" in June 2022. The announcement has ignited excitement among ARMY, the group's dedicated fanbase, who have eagerly awaited their return.
The new album, currently titled "The 5th Album," will feature a total of 14 tracks. According to BigHit Music, the members were deeply involved in the creation of the songs, infusing their own thoughts and colors while musically expressing the emotions and struggles they have experienced along their journey. The album is described as filled with music that’s most true to BTS, and is their heartfelt way of saying thank you to ARMY, who have been there this whole time.
Pre-orders for "The 5th Album" will begin on January 16 at 11:00 AM KST (7:30 AM IST). ARMYs can secure their copies through Weverse and BIGHIT MUSIC’s official website. Target will also have exclusive CDs and Vinyls available for pre-order.
In addition to the album release, BTS has announced plans for a world tour. The tour schedule, including dates and venues, will be revealed on January 14 at midnight KST. This will be BTS's first large-scale tour since the 'Permission to Dance on Stage' tour, which concluded in April 2022.
