Realme has officially launched its latest premium smartphone series in India, introducing the Realme 16 Pro 5G and the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G. The launch event, held on January 6, 2026, revealed key specifications, pricing, and availability details for the Indian market. Both models boast impressive features, aiming to cater to diverse user needs and preferences.
Design and Colors:
The Realme 16 Pro series showcases a design crafted by Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa and are available in Master Gold, Master Grey, Camellia Pink, and Orchid Purple.
Display:
Both the Realme 16 Pro 5G and 16 Pro+ 5G feature AMOLED displays with Full HD+ resolution. The Realme 16 Pro 5G has a 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, while the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G features slim bezels, a high screen-to-body ratio, and HDR playback support. Under the hood, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. The Realme 16 Pro 5G is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max processor. The Realme 16 Pro Plus 5G will offer a smooth 144Hz display, a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, Android 16, and a sizable 7,000 mAh battery.

Both smartphones in the Realme 16 Pro series feature a 200MP main camera and support 4K video recording. The Pro+ model includes a 50MP periscope camera. The Realme 16 Pro Plus 5G has a "200 MP + 50 MP + 8 MP Triple Rear & 50 MP Front Camera".
