Following the wedding of her sister, Nupur Sanon, to singer Stebin Ben, actress Kriti Sanon has expressed her joy and welcomed Stebin into their family fold. The couple tied the knot in Udaipur over two days, January 10 and 11, in both Christian and Hindu ceremonies. A Mumbai reception for their film industry friends followed on Tuesday.

Kriti shared heartfelt sentiments on Instagram, along with unseen photos from the wedding events. She reminisced about holding Nupur as a baby and now witnessing her as a beautiful bride. Kriti expressed how full her heart was seeing Nupur so happy and in love as she begins a new chapter with Stebin.

In her message, Kriti warmly welcomed Stebin, acknowledging that he has been a part of their family for over five years and their bond has only grown stronger. She playfully stated she is not really "giving her away", welcoming Stebin to the Sanon family. She also mentioned that she knows she has gained a brother and a friend for life who will always be there for her.

Nupur revealed that Kriti was the first person she told about her relationship with Stebin. According to Nupur, when she initially told her mother about Stebin, her mother was a little unsure, as most mothers are, about the seriousness and the future. However, Kriti stepped in, vouching for Stebin's talent and work ethic, which helped convince their mother. Nupur also shared that Stebin leaves a great impression when he meets people, which helped everything fall into place.

The wedding festivities included a vibrant sangeet night with performances by Nupur and Kriti, and a video of the Christian wedding ceremony went viral. For the Hindu ceremony, Nupur wore a Manish Malhotra lehenga, while for the reception in Mumbai, she wore a red gown. Kriti wore an olive green velvet saree for the reception. Celebrities like Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor attended the reception.

Stebin Ben is a singer-songwriter from Bhopal, known for his independent singles such as "Sahiba" and "Rula Ke Gaya Ishq". Before pursuing music, he earned a degree in civil engineering, just like Kriti.

Kriti concluded her emotional note by admitting she would miss Nupur's presence at home, even though she will only be living 20 minutes away. The entire Sanon family, including their parents and Kriti's rumored boyfriend, Kabir Bahira, were present to bless the couple.
