The joyous news was shared by Ram Charan's father, veteran actor Chiranjeevi Konidela, via a heartfelt post on social media. He expressed immense joy and gratitude, stating that both the mother and the babies are healthy and doing well.

Chiranjeevi's post on X (formerly Twitter) read, "With immense joy and a heart full of gratitude, we are happy to share that @AlwaysRamCharan and @upasanakonidela have been blessed with twins – a baby boy and a baby girl. Both the babies and the mother are healthy and doing well. Welcoming these little ones into our family is a moment of pure joy and divine blessing for us as grandparents. We sincerely thank everyone for their prayers, love, blessings and good wishes".

This marks the second instance of parenthood for Ram Charan and Upasana, who welcomed their first child, a daughter named Klin Kaara Konidela, in June 2023. The arrival of the twins has doubled the family's happiness, making them parents to three children.

Upasana's mother, Shobana Kamineni, had initially confirmed that the couple was expecting twins. Ram Charan and Upasana officially announced their second pregnancy in October 2025 through a video shared during their Diwali celebrations.

Following the announcement, congratulatory messages poured in from friends, family, and colleagues. Ram Charan's cousin, Sushmita Konidela, also shared her excitement on social media, expressing her joy at becoming an "Attha" (aunt) once again and congratulating the couple.

Ram Charan and Upasana tied the knot in June 2012 after getting engaged in December 2011. Upasana is the Vice-Chairperson of Apollo Charity. The couple has maintained a private life for their daughter, Klin Kaara, and have not yet revealed her face to the public.
