Following the accident, Ashish Vidyarthi took to social media to share an update on their health. In a video message, the actor assured fans that he and his wife were safe and had sustained minor injuries. He clarified that Rupali is under observation at Apollo Hospital as a precaution, but is in stable condition. Ashish himself sustained a minor injury but is "absolutely fine".

Vidyarthi also addressed concerns about the motorcyclist involved in the accident, stating that he had checked with the police and learned that the rider had regained consciousness and was receiving treatment at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
