Janki Bodiwala is currently basking in the glow of her recent film, "Mardaani 3," where she had the opportunity to share screen space with her idol, Rani Mukerji. The film, the third installment in the "Mardaani" franchise, hit theaters on January 30, 2026, and has garnered mixed to positive reviews from critics.
Bodiwala described working on “Mardaani 3” as a dream come true, especially because it allowed her to collaborate with Rani Mukerji. In the film, Bodiwala plays Constable Fatima Anwar, working alongside Mukerji's character, SSP Shivani Shivaji Roy.

This sets Shivani on a path to uncover a vast network of child exploitation, forcing her to navigate official pressures, criminal syndicates, and moral dilemmas.
Directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films, "Mardaani 3" also stars Mallika Prasad. The film's story is by Aayush Gupta, Deepak Kingrani, and Baljeet Singh Marwah, with the screenplay and dialogues written by Aayush Gupta.
