Q4 FY25 Results

HUDCO released its Q4 FY25 earnings report on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. The company's standalone profit stood at ₹727.74 crore, marking a 3.94% increase compared to the ₹700.16 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of FY24. The net interest income (NII) for the quarter was ₹962 crore, a 26.4% year-on-year increase.

Final Dividend Announcement

Along with the Q4 results, the HUDCO board considered and approved the recommendation of a final dividend for the financial year 2024-25. The actual payment date of the dividend will be determined following the approval of shareholders at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Previous Dividends

Prior to this final dividend recommendation, HUDCO had already declared two interim dividends for FY25. On March 10, 2025, HUDCO announced a second interim dividend of ₹1.05 per equity share. The record date for this dividend was March 14, 2025, and the payment was to be completed within 30 days of the declaration. Earlier, the company had declared an interim dividend of ₹2.05 per share, with a record date of January 30, 2025.

Stock Performance

Shares of HUDCO have seen some volatility. While the stock hit a 52-week high of ₹353.7 apiece on July 12, 2024, it also touched a 52-week low of ₹158.85 on March 3, 2025. In the past year, the stock has traded 8.47% lower.

Fundraising

In related news, HUDCO has been actively raising funds through bonds. On May 6, 2025, the board approved raising ₹2,190 crore through non-convertible debentures (NCDs) via private placement. These NCDs have a face value of ₹1,00,000 each (Series-B 2025) and offer an interest rate of 6.90% annually. The bonds will be repaid at face value at the end of 5 years, with interest payments scheduled annually.
