Dhanush has extended warm birthday wishes to his "Tere Ishk Mein" co-star, Kriti Sanon, who turned 35 on July 27, 2025. In "Tere Ishk Mein", Kriti Sanon plays a character named Mukti.

The duo is cast in Aanand L. Rai's upcoming film "Tere Ishk Mein", which is slated to release in theaters on November 28, 2025. The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, and produced by Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The film is said to be a spiritual successor to Rai's earlier film "Raanjhanaa" and also marks the reunion of Dhanush and A.R. Rahman after "Raanjhanaa" and "Atrangi Re".

Kriti Sanon has also shared an emotional note expressing her gratitude and admiration for director Aanand L. Rai, co-star Dhanush, and writer Himanshu Sharma as "Tere Ishk Mein" wraps up. She described Dhanush as "one of the finest and most intelligent actors" she has worked with and expressed her pleasure in doing scenes with him. She also thanked Aanand L. Rai for guiding her through the journey of finding Mukti and for feeding her with love. On the work front, Kriti Sanon is reportedly cast in Aanand L. Rai’s upcoming directorial, ‘Tere Ishk Mein’, co-starring Dhanush. She has also completed filming for ‘Tere Ishk Mein’.
