The teaser for the highly anticipated romantic comedy, "Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari," starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, has been released, offering a glimpse into a festive family drama filled with love, laughter, and potential twists. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film is slated to hit theaters on October 2, 2025, coinciding with the Dussehra festival.

The teaser promises a vibrant and high-energy entertainer, with Dharma Productions releasing a glimpse that is full of deep emotions, grand celebrations, and entertainment for the entire family. Touted as the biggest family entertainer of the year, the film has already generated considerable excitement among audiences.

"Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari" marks the third collaboration between Varun Dhawan and director Shashank Khaitan, who have previously delivered hits like "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" (2014) and "Badrinath Ki Dulhania" (2017). This film is considered a spiritual sequel to "Badrinath Ki Dulhania".

The film features Varun Dhawan as Sunny and Janhvi Kapoor as Tulsi Kumari, reportedly portraying characters with contrasting personalities. Sunny is described as a fun-loving and carefree guy, while Tulsi is depicted as a cultured and serious girl. The plot revolves around their meeting and subsequent love story. Besides Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, the movie also stars Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Akshay Oberoi, Abhinav Sharma, Maniesh Paul, and Manini Chadha in significant roles.

Akshay Oberoi expressed his excitement about being part of this family-themed love story and shared behind-the-scenes glimpses from the shoot. One photo showed the whole cast covered in Holi colors, likely taken after shooting a colorful scene. He also shared photos and videos capturing moments from both the sets and the after-parties.
