Manoj Manchu recently met with Rajinikanth to showcase the trailer of Mirai. According to Manoj, Rajinikanth praised both the movie and his performance, which he considered a "true blessing". Manchu Manoj also expressed his gratitude to the people of Tamil Nadu and the media for their support.

Mirai is directed and shot by Karthik Ghattamaneni. The film is touted as a high-concept action adventure that blends mythology with modern superhero tropes. The trailer introduces Teja Sajja's character with a philosophical tone, setting up an epic hero's journey. Manchu Manoj plays the antagonist, Black Sword, who is on a quest to find nine holy books that will make him invincible, posing a threat to humanity.

The film features Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, and Jayaram in key roles. Gowra Hari composed the music, Sreekar Prasad handled the editing, and Nagendra Tangalla is responsible for the production design. Mirai is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the People Media Factory banner.
