The romantic drama Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri, has marked a significant milestone, completing 50 days in theaters on September 5, 2025. The film, backed by Yash Raj Films, stars newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in leading roles. Saiyaara has become a box office sensation since its release on July 19, defying expectations and emerging as one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.

Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda shared a joint post on Instagram to celebrate the film's success and express their gratitude to their fans. The post included pictures of the two actors at Mount Mary's Basilica in Bandra. In the caption, they wrote, "Today marks 50 days of a film that brought us to the world and the world to us, the love that we have gotten feels like a testament to the fact that if you believe in magic, if you feel it, the world may just feel it with you". They added, "Thank you for being as vulnerable as us, for letting us in, for reminding us that honesty and love are more powerful than anything else in this world, & that knowing, will always be the most beautiful thing we carry forward".

Saiyaara revolves around the intense love story between Krish Kapoor (played by Ahaan Panday), an aspiring musician, and Vaani Batra (played by Aneet Padda), a shy writer. The film has been praised for its fresh casting, melodious music, and the performances of its two leads. The film marks Ahaan Panday's Bollywood debut and Aneet Padda's first major role, though she previously appeared in Big Girls Don't Cry and Slaam Venky. The film has earned ₹570 crore globally, surpassing Kabir Singh and Chennai Express to become the highest-grossing romantic film in Indian cinema history.

In other news, Netflix has officially renewed "Wednesday," starring Jenna Ortega, for a third season. The series has become Netflix's most-watched English-language series. Netflix announced the renewal in August 2025. Co-creator and co-showrunner Alfred Gough stated that the goal for Season 3 is to make it the best season possible, continuing to delve deeper into the characters and expand the world of Nevermore.

While the full cast list for Season 3 has not been revealed, Jenna Ortega is expected to return as Wednesday Addams. Other Addams family members, including Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Fred Armisen, Isaac Ordonez, and George Burcea, are also likely to return. Familiar faces like Emma Myers, Joanna Lumley, Hunter Doohan, and Victor Dorobantu are also expected to be part of the cast.

Production for Season 3 has not yet begun, and a release date has not been announced. Given the extensive VFX work required for the show, it is likely that Season 3 will not air until late 2027. Gough mentioned that Season 3 will be the "darkest chapter of the Addams family" yet. The new season will likely pick up after the Season 2 finale, continuing the storylines of characters like Enid, Tyler, and Wednesday's Aunt Ophelia.
