Akshay Kumar, a prolific Bollywood actor who has worked with numerous leading ladies throughout his career, recently revealed his favorite co-star. The actor, currently enjoying the success of his latest film Jolly LLB 3, made the revelation during an appearance on India TV's show Aap Ki Adalat.

When a fan questioned him about his favorite heroine among all the actresses he has worked with, Akshay Kumar didn't hesitate to name Katrina Kaif. He acknowledged working with almost all the leading actresses in the industry but stated that Katrina is his favorite.

Akshay and Katrina have shared screen space in eight Bollywood films. Their collaborations include Humko Deewana Kar Gaye (2006), Namastey London (2007), Welcome (2007), Singh Is Kinng (2008), Blue (2009), De Dana Dan (2009), Tees Maar Khan (2010), and Sooryavanshi (2021).

Katrina Kaif has also spoken positively about her rapport with Akshay Kumar. While promoting Sooryavanshi on The Kapil Sharma Show, she expressed her gratitude to Akshay for his support during her early days in the industry. She mentioned that Akshay would stand in front of her during shots and encourage her.

During the Aap Ki Adalat episode, Akshay also responded to the question of why he often works with new heroines. He explained that he also likes to work with new directors because he finds them very passionate about their work. He stated that he is proud to have worked with 26 new directors in the industry and believes in giving new talent a chance.

The Aap Ki Adalat interview covered a wide range of topics, including his work habits, his relationship with his wife Twinkle Khanna, and even some amusing anecdotes about his co-stars. One such anecdote involved Amitabh Bachchan claiming that Akshay has a habit of "stealing" watches when shaking hands with people. Akshay playfully admitted to removing Amitabh Bachchan's watch once but clarified that he always returns it. He also joked that he wouldn't dare try to steal his wife's watch.

In the same interview, Akshay clarified that reports about heroines not wanting to work with him because of his early morning schedules were false. He shared an anecdote about Kareena Kapoor enjoying the disciplined schedule while working with him on Good Newwz, as it allowed her to wrap up early and spend time with her children.

Akshay Kumar's latest release, Jolly LLB 3, also came up during the conversation. Akshay addressed concerns from some lawyers about the film's humorous portrayal of the judiciary, clarifying that the film is based on certain occurrences in lower courts and should not be taken too seriously. The film, which also stars Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla, has been receiving positive reviews, with many praising the chemistry between Akshay and Arshad.
