The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max has officially been unveiled as part of the Xiaomi 17 series, marking Xiaomi's intensified efforts to compete in the premium smartphone market. Launched on September 25, 2025, alongside the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Pro, the Pro Max boasts high-end specifications and features designed to rival devices like the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is currently available in China, with a starting price of CNY 5,999 (approximately ₹74,700) for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. Other configurations include 16GB RAM + 512GB storage for CNY 6,299 (approximately ₹78,500) and 16GB RAM + 1TB storage for CNY 6,999 (approximately ₹87,200). While there's no official word on an India launch, direct imports are already available. The Xiaomi 17 series will go on sale on September 27th, 2025, through Mi.com, Xiaomi Store, and other official channels.
The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max features a large 6.9-inch 2K OLED super pixel screen with a resolution of 3200x1440 pixels. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The phone comes with either 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offers storage options of 512GB or 1TB using UFS 4.1. It runs on Android 16-based HyperOS 3.

The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max has a large 7,500mAh battery. It supports 100W HyperCharge and PPS, as well as 50W wireless charging. It also supports 22.5W reverse wired or wireless charging, allowing it to function as a power bank.
