OnePlus has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 15, in India today. The device boasts Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and a substantial 7,300mAh battery.
Pricing and Availability
The OnePlus 15 is available in two configurations:
- 12GB RAM + 256GB storage: ₹72,999
- 16GB RAM + 512GB storage: ₹79,999
The phone is available for purchase starting today at 8 PM IST via OnePlus's official online store, Amazon India, Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales, Bajaj Electronics and the company's Experience Stores. Launch offers include discounts of up to ₹4,000 for HDFC Bank cardholders. The OnePlus 15 comes in Absolute Black, Misty Purple, and Sand Dune finishes. Some sources also mention Infinite Black, Sand Storm, and Ultra Violet colorways.
Display and Design
The OnePlus 15 features a 6.78-inch third-generation BOE Flexible AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. The display supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and is capable of reproducing 1.07 billion colors. It offers 1,800 nits of local brightness and 3,600 nits of peak brightness. The screen also features Eye Comfort for Gaming, Motion Cues, Eye Comfort Reminders, and Reduce White Point. The phone has slim 1.15mm thick bezels. The dimensions of the phone are 161.42 x 76.67 x 8.10mm, and it weighs around 211 grams.
Performance and Software
The OnePlus 15 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Qualcomm's latest 3nm processor, coupled with the Adreno 840 GPU. It comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The device runs on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. OnePlus has promised 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches for the OnePlus 15. The OxygenOS 16 brings several new AI features, which can be found under the "OnePlus AI" section in the Settings app. The update includes AI Writer toolkit, which can generate text, mind maps, captions, emails and even charts.
Camera
The OnePlus 15 sports a triple rear camera setup:
- 50MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor with OIS
- 50MP ultra-wide sensor with a 116-degree field of view
- 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and 7x digital lossless zoom
The rear camera allows users to record videos up to 8K resolution. The front-facing camera is a 32MP Sony IMX709 RGBW sensor with autofocus.
Battery and Charging
OnePlus has incorporated a 7,300mAh battery in the OnePlus 15. It supports 120W Super Flash Charge for wired charging and 50W Wireless Flash Charge.

The OnePlus 15 is a dual-SIM handset. It also features a dedicated touch response chip to deliver a 3,200Hz sampling rate. The phone supports Sun Display technology and has eye comfort features.
