The Motilal Oswal Foundation has made a landmark commitment of ₹100 crore to the Indian School of Business (ISB), marking the largest philanthropic donation in the institution's history. This contribution will be instrumental in supporting the establishment of a new Executive Centre at ISB's Hyderabad campus.

The new Motilal Oswal Executive Centre at ISB Hyderabad aims to significantly enhance executive education programs. This state-of-the-art facility will play a pivotal role in developing future business leaders by providing them with advanced resources and infrastructure. The center will likely feature modern classrooms, collaborative spaces, and cutting-edge technology to facilitate an immersive and enriching learning environment.

The Motilal Oswal Foundation, established in 2011, is deeply rooted in the Motilal Oswal Group's tradition of giving back to society. The foundation is driven by the motto 'Knowledge First', focusing on education as a catalyst for societal prosperity and equality. The foundation supports comprehensive development projects for children from marginalized communities, aiming to instill self-esteem, confidence, and a passion for learning. Their initiatives range from sponsoring school construction and infrastructure development to providing educational facilities like science laboratories and libraries. For instance, the foundation is sponsoring the construction of a new school at Bolangir district of Odisha that will cater to 1000 tribal children. Also, the foundation has partnered with IIM Mumbai to establish the Motilal Oswal Knowledge Centre, designed to foster innovation and knowledge-sharing in key disciplines such as capital markets, business strategy, and financial research. Additionally, the foundation pledged to educate 108 children from 14 states at Mewar University, offering them free education. Furthermore, the foundation committed ₹45 crore to Plaksha University, supporting the development of world-class infrastructure, including the Agrawal-Oswal Student Residence for women students.

ISB has consistently been recognized as a premier business school in India and globally. ISB was founded in 2001 by Anil Kumar, Pramath Raj Sinha, and Rajat Gupta, operates as a management education institution offering postgraduate and executive programs. ISB has not raised any funding yet. ISB's recent achievements include a high ranking in the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2025, securing the #27 position globally and retaining the #1 spot in India. The institution has also announced a strategic brand refresh, reinforcing its commitment to developing and empowering future leaders. ISB hosts events such as the Insights Forum, bringing together leaders like Union Minister for Education Shri Dharmendra Pradhan to discuss the role of AI in transforming research in India. The institution also focuses on combating misinformation, collaborating with Cyber Peace to launch the report "Fact-Checking India: Identifying the Spread of Fake News and Policy Recommendations for Combating Misinformation". The business school also has partnerships with over 50 leading schools from countries such as the US, UK, France, South Africa, and more. ISB offers various scholarships, including merit-based and need-based scholarships, along with corporate scholarships and alumni endowments, to support students in their academic pursuits.

This substantial pledge from the Motilal Oswal Foundation will further strengthen ISB's ability to provide quality education, conduct impactful research, and contribute to the development of future business leaders in India and beyond. This contribution emphasizes the importance of industry-academia collaboration in driving educational standards and fostering innovation in key areas of business and management.
