Mumbai Airport's Pranaam Service Faces Singer Adnan Sami's Wrath
Renowned singer Adnan Sami has publicly criticized the Pranaam meet-and-greet service at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA), calling it "inefficient, careless & lazy as hell." Sami took to X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, May 31, 2025, to voice his frustration, stating that the service couldn't care less about its clients and that he has had numerous "horrible experiences." He directly tagged the official account of Mumbai Airport, urging them to take serious note and improve the service drastically.
The Pranaam service is designed to offer a premium airport experience, providing assistance with navigating the terminal, managing luggage, fast-track immigration, mobility support, and other VIP-style services. It aims to ensure a hassle-free and comfortable journey for travelers.
In response to Sami's complaint, Mumbai Airport's official X account replied with a message expressing concern and assuring that the feedback would be communicated to the concerned team. However, Sami dismissed the response as a generic "Standard Template Bot Reply," implying that it lacked sincerity and concrete action. While Sami didn't provide specific details about his negative experiences, he made it clear that this wasn't an isolated incident.
The incident has sparked discussion on social media, with many users sharing their own experiences with airport services. As of now, CSMIA and Pranaam have not issued an official follow-up response addressing Sami's specific criticisms.
Pankaj Tripathi Addresses "Hera Pheri 3" Rumors
The "Hera Pheri 3" saga continues to make headlines, this time with Pankaj Tripathi responding to rumors of him replacing Paresh Rawal as the iconic Baburao Ganpatrao Apte. Following Paresh Rawal's confirmation that he would not be part of the project, fans began suggesting Tripathi as a potential replacement.
However, Tripathi has expressed his reservations about stepping into such an iconic role. In a recent interview, he stated that while he was flattered by the fans' support, he doesn't believe he is the right person for the job. He emphasized Paresh Rawal's extraordinary talent and said he considers himself "zero" in front of him.
Tripathi's humility and respect for Rawal's work have been well-received by fans, although many remain eager to see him in the film in some capacity. Some have suggested he could play a new character, perhaps Baburao's brother, to avoid direct comparisons.
Adding to the "Hera Pheri 3" drama, reports have surfaced that Akshay Kumar's production house, Cape of Good Films, sent Paresh Rawal a legal notice seeking ₹25 crore in damages for allegedly breaching a contract by exiting the project. Rawal has clarified that his decision to leave the film was not due to creative differences with the director, Priyadarshan. He reiterated his respect and faith in the filmmaker. It was reported that Rawal returned his signing amount of ₹11 lakhs with an additional 15% interest.
While a viral picture of Pankaj Tripathi in Baburao's getup circulated online, it was later confirmed to be AI-generated.
