A reckless biker performing a dangerous zig-zag stunt in front of a Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus has been apprehended by the Delhi Police. The incident, which was captured on video and widely circulated on social media, prompted swift action from law enforcement. The biker's actions endangered not only his own life but also the lives of other road users.

The Delhi Police took cognizance of the viral video and initiated an investigation. Working with the DTC control room, they identified the bus involved in the incident. The police then analyzed the video and other technical inputs to track down the motorcycle's registration number.

Further investigation revealed that the motorcycle had been sold more than 13 years ago, but the ownership transfer was not updated in the official records. The police contacted the original owner, who cooperated with the investigation and helped them trace the bike's current owner.

Once the biker was identified, three dedicated police teams were formed to locate him and the motorcycle. The teams were successful in tracking down both the rider and the vehicle. Legal action has been initiated against the rider for his reckless behavior.

As the motorcycle was found to be over 15 years old, it was handed over to a registered scrapper, as per the regulations in Delhi. The city has strict rules regarding older vehicles to combat pollution.

The Delhi Police have urged all motorists to strictly adhere to road safety rules and avoid performing dangerous stunts that put lives at risk. They have stated that swift and stringent enforcement will continue to ensure public safety. The police also highlighted the role of social media in bringing such incidents to their attention and enabling them to take action.

This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of responsible driving and the potential consequences of reckless behavior on the road. It also highlights the effectiveness of social media as a tool for citizens to report traffic violations and help law enforcement maintain order. The swift action taken by the Delhi Police sends a strong message that such behavior will not be tolerated and that those who endanger the lives of others will be held accountable.
