As BTS's RM (Kim Namjoon) approaches his discharge date from mandatory military service, recent glimpses into his time in the armed forces have delighted fans worldwide. Scheduled to be discharged on June 10, 2025, along with fellow member V, RM has shared several updates, including photos of himself with his military buddies, showcasing camaraderie and a lighthearted spirit amidst his duties.

RM enlisted in December 2023, and since then, ARMY (BTS's fan base) have been eagerly awaiting his return. Throughout his service, RM has maintained a connection with fans, sharing snippets of his experiences. Previously, he posted about snow-clearing duties, giving a glimpse into the less glamorous, physically demanding aspects of military life. These updates have garnered admiration for his dedication and work ethic, reinforcing his image as someone who excels in every endeavor he undertakes.

More recently, RM posted a photo of himself and his fellow service members in a four-cut "life photo" booth, a popular activity in South Korea. In the photos, RM makes playful expressions, demonstrating a fun and relaxed attitude. Fans reacted positively to the images, noting how well the military uniform suits him and expressing excitement for his imminent discharge.

These lighthearted photos stand in contrast to earlier images showing RM hard at work, shoveling snow. The variety of updates paints a picture of a well-rounded military experience, where duty and camaraderie go hand-in-hand. Such glimpses into his military life not only build anticipation for his return but also deepen the respect for RM's commitment and adaptability.

RM's discharge date is closely followed by those of other BTS members. V will also be discharged on June 10, while Jimin and Jungkook are set to return on June 11. SUGA, who is serving as a social service worker, is expected to complete his alternative service later in June. With Jin and J-Hope already discharged and pursuing solo activities, the return of the remaining members signals a highly anticipated reunion of BTS as a complete unit.

ARMYs around the world are counting down the days until all seven members are back, eagerly awaiting the group's future plans. The members' military service has been a significant chapter, and its completion marks a new beginning for BTS.
