Aneet Padda, born on October 14, 2002, is an emerging Indian actress who is poised to make a significant impact on Bollywood. The 22-year-old actress is all set to star as the female lead in Yash Raj Films' upcoming romantic drama, Saiyaara, opposite Ahaan Panday. This film, directed by Mohit Suri, known for his intense love stories, is scheduled to be released in theaters worldwide on July 18, 2025.

Although Saiyaara marks her first leading role in a mainstream Bollywood project, Aneet is not new to the film industry. She made her acting debut in the 2022 film Salaam Venky, directed by Revathi, where she played the role of Nandini alongside Kajol, Vishal Jethwa, and others. In 2024, she gained further recognition for her performance as Roohi in the Amazon Prime Video series, Big Girls Don't Cry. The series featured a strong female ensemble cast, including Pooja Bhatt, Raima Sen, and Zoya Hussain, and Aneet's performance was lauded. She also wrote, composed, and sung the song "Masoom" for Big Girls Don't Cry.

Saiyaara is generating considerable buzz as it brings together YRF and Mohit Suri, both renowned for creating timeless love stories. The film's title, Saiyaara, which means "a wandering celestial body," hints at a dazzling, ethereal, and perhaps unattainable element within the narrative, a wandering star, always shining, always guiding, but always out of reach. The teaser of Saiyaara has already been released, offering a glimpse into the intense love story, passion, joy, and heartbreak that the film promises to deliver. Ahaan Panday seemingly plays a rockstar, and the chemistry between him and Aneet suggests a rollercoaster of emotions for viewers.

Before venturing into acting, Aneet appeared in several television advertisements for various brands, showcasing her screen presence and versatility. On Instagram, where she has over 35,000 followers, Aneet describes herself as "Authentically pretending."

With Saiyaara, Aneet Padda joins the ranks of YRF Talent, Yash Raj Films' talent management division, known for nurturing and promoting some of the biggest names in the Indian entertainment industry. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra and Akshaye Widhani. As Saiyaara's release date approaches, anticipation is building to see Aneet Padda shine in her first major leading role and to witness the fresh pairing of her with Ahaan Panday on the big screen.
