The investigation into the death of Raja Raghuvanshi during his honeymoon in Meghalaya has taken a significant turn with the arrest of Sonam Raghuvanshi's alleged boyfriend, Raj Kushwaha. The arrest follows revelations that Sonam allegedly orchestrated her husband's murder with the help of hired killers.
According to reports, Sonam Raghuvanshi had been involved in a relationship with Raj Kushwaha prior to her marriage with Raja. It is alleged that the two conspired to eliminate Raja Raghuvanshi to reunite. Raj Kushwaha is believed to be the mastermind behind the murder plot.
The Meghalaya Police have been actively investigating the case, leading to the arrest of Raj Kushwaha and three other individuals allegedly involved in the crime. The three other individuals have been identified as Vicky Thakur, Anand and Akash. The suspects were apprehended in Madhya Pradesh.
The events unfolded after Raja Raghuvanshi and Sonam Raghuvanshi went missing during their honeymoon in Meghalaya on May 23. A scooter rented by the couple was found abandoned, raising concerns about their whereabouts. On June 2, Raja Raghuvanshi's body was discovered in a gorge, confirming the worst fears.
Sonam Raghuvanshi was later found in Uttar Pradesh. Reports indicate that she contacted her brother, informing him of her location. She was found in unwell condition at a roadside eatery.
