Nitanshi Goel, the young actress who gained widespread recognition for her role in "Laapataa Ladies," recently shared her heartfelt thoughts about her father in an exclusive interview, just in time for Father's Day. The actress, who has been lauded for her performance and grounded nature, offered a glimpse into her relationship with her dad, describing him as a unique blend of veteran actor Anupam Kher and the versatile Pankaj Tripathi.

Nitanshi, born on June 12, 2007, in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, began her career as a child model, winning the Miss Pantaloons Junior Fashion Icon title in 2015. However, acting was her true calling, a dream her parents wholeheartedly supported. In numerous interviews, Nitanshi has openly spoken about the sacrifices her parents made to support her aspirations. Her father, Nitin Goel, left his business in Noida, while her mother, Rashi Goel, resigned from her government job, both relocating to Mumbai to support Nitanshi's acting journey.

In the recent interview, Nitanshi emphasized the importance of her father's role in her life, stating that his love and support mean more to her than anything else. She fondly described him as her first hero and a constant source of inspiration. When asked to elaborate on her "Anupam Kher and Pankaj Tripathi" analogy, she explained that her father possesses the wisdom, wit, and eloquence reminiscent of Anupam Kher, combined with the down-to-earth nature, simplicity, and relatable demeanor of Pankaj Tripathi.

She highlighted how her father's guidance has been instrumental in navigating the complexities of the film industry, providing her with valuable life lessons and keeping her grounded amidst the attention and fame. She noted that he always encourages her to stay true to herself, echoing the advice she received from industry veterans at the Cannes Film Festival 2025. Nitanshi recounted how her father’s business in Noida was left behind, and he took up a job to ensure she could pursue her acting dreams. Her mother also left her government job, a testament to their combined dedication.

Nitanshi's journey in the entertainment industry has been filled with memorable moments. She started with television shows like "Naagarjuna: Ek Yoddha" and "Karmaphal Daata Shani" and has also appeared in commercials and web series. Her breakthrough role in "Laapataa Ladies," produced by Aamir Khan Productions, earned her critical acclaim and the IIFA Award for Best Actress. The film's success has further solidified her position as a rising star in Bollywood.

As Father's Day approaches, Nitanshi expressed her gratitude for her father's unwavering support and love. She acknowledged that his sacrifices have allowed her to pursue her passion and achieve her dreams. She also mentioned that her father is very supportive of her career and is always there to guide and encourage her. Nitanshi also shared a heartwarming anecdote about how Aamir Khan praised her talent in front of her mother, calling her a "heera" (diamond), which was an emotional moment for her and her family.

Nitanshi Goel's story is a testament to the power of parental support and the importance of staying true to oneself. As she continues her journey in the film industry, her father's guidance and inspiration will undoubtedly remain a constant source of strength.
