The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to announce the General Duty (GD) Constable Exam 2025 results soon on its official website, ssc.gov.in. Candidates who appeared for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) held from February 4 to 25, 2025, can access their results via the official website. While the exact date remains unconfirmed by the commission, expectations are that the results will be declared around mid or end of June 2025.

The SSC GD Constable exam is conducted to recruit candidates for the posts of General Duty Constables in various paramilitary forces such as BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, SSF, and NCB. This year, approximately 25 lakh candidates appeared for the CBT out of the 52.69 lakh who applied. The results will be released in PDF format, containing the roll numbers of the shortlisted candidates along with category-wise and state-wise cut-off marks.

How to Check the SSC GD Constable Result 2025:

Once the results are declared, candidates can follow these steps to download and check their results:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to ssc.gov.in.
  2. Click on the ‘Result’ Tab: Look for the ‘Result’ tab on the homepage and click on it.
  3. Choose ‘Constable-GD’: Under the exam category, select ‘Constable-GD’.
  4. Click the Result Link: Find and click on the link titled “SSC GD Constable Exam Result 2025”.
  5. Download the PDF: A PDF file will open, displaying the roll numbers of the shortlisted candidates and the cut-off marks.
  6. Check Your Status: Download the PDF and use Ctrl+F to search for your roll number to check your qualifying status.

The SSC GD Merit List 2025 will be published alongside the results. The merit list will contain the roll numbers of candidates who qualify for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).

Selection Process:

The SSC GD Constable recruitment involves four stages:

  1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): This is an objective-type test with 80 questions from Reasoning, General Knowledge, Mathematics, and English/Hindi. The test duration is one hour, and there is negative marking.
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): This test assesses the candidate's running ability and is qualifying in nature.
  3. Physical Standard Test (PST): This test checks the height, weight, and chest measurements according to the specified norms.
  4. Medical Examination and Document Verification: The final stage involves a medical examination and verification of documents to ensure that candidates meet the required physical and medical standards.

Candidates who clear the CBT will proceed to the PET/PST round, followed by document verification and a medical examination. The final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in the CBT, provided they qualify in the PET, PST, medical examination, and document verification.

The release of the SSC GD Constable Result 2025 marks the conclusion of the first phase of the selection process, paving the way for the subsequent physical and medical evaluations. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website for the latest updates and information.

Salary:

The candidates selected as General Duty Constables will get a starting in-hand salary ranging from approximately Rs. 37,325 to Rs. 32,985 per month, which will increase with the service period.
