Oppo is gearing up to launch its latest smartphone, the K13x 5G, in India on June 23rd at 12 PM IST. The company has officially confirmed the launch date and revealed key specifications, positioning the device as an affordable yet durable option in the sub-Rs. 15,000 segment. This launch expands Oppo's K series in the Indian market, promising a blend of performance, robust build quality, and a long-lasting battery.

The Oppo K13x 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, a 6nm processor designed for efficient performance in various tasks, from everyday use to gaming and streaming. The phone will come in two variants, offering 4GB or 6GB of RAM, both paired with 128GB of internal storage. The device will run on Android 15-based ColorOS 15, which introduces several AI-powered features such as AI Eraser, AI Unblur, AI Reflection Remover, AI Clarity Enhancer, AI Summary, AI Recorder, and AI Studio, enhancing user experience and productivity.

One of the key highlights of the Oppo K13x 5G is its focus on durability. The phone boasts a 360° Damage-Proof Armour Body, constructed from aerospace-grade AM04 aluminum alloy and reinforced with Crystal Shield glass. It has achieved MIL-STD 810H shock resistance certification, IP65 dust and water resistance, and SGS Gold Drop-Resistance, ensuring it can withstand daily wear and tear, accidental drops, and exposure to the elements. The design incorporates a biomimetic Sponge Shock Absorption System, inspired by sea sponges, which enhances shock resistance. Moreover, the display will support Splash Touch and Glove Touch modes, ensuring usability even with wet fingers or while wearing gloves.

The Oppo K13x 5G will feature a 120Hz display with up to 1000 nits of peak brightness, ensuring clear visibility even in bright sunlight. For photography, the device will sport a 50-megapixel AI-backed dual rear camera setup, along with an 8-megapixel front camera. The AI-powered camera features will include AI Eraser, AI Unblur, AI Reflection Remover, and AI Clarity Enhancer, promising enhanced image quality and versatile shooting options.

The device is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery, supported by 45W SuperVOOC fast charging. Oppo claims that the charging solution can charge the battery up to 30% in just 21 minutes and achieve a full charge in approximately 91 minutes. Additionally, Oppo provides a 5-year battery health guarantee, ensuring that the battery retains over 80% of its capacity after 1,700 charge cycles, providing long-term reliability.

The Oppo K13x 5G will be available in two color options: Midnight Violet and Sunset Peach. It will be sold through Flipkart, Oppo's official online store, and offline retail partners across India. With its competitive pricing (under Rs. 15,000), robust build quality, and a suite of features, the Oppo K13x 5G aims to appeal to consumers seeking a reliable and feature-rich smartphone in the budget segment. The inclusion of Android 15-based ColorOS 15, coupled with AI enhancements and a focus on durability, positions the K13x 5G as a strong contender in the Indian smartphone market.
