Carlos Alcaraz continued his impressive run of form, extending his winning streak to 16 matches as he secured a place in the semi-finals at Queen's Club. The top seed and defending champion demonstrated his grass-court prowess, overcoming a strong challenge from lucky loser Arthur Rinderknech with a 7-5, 6-4 victory. Alcaraz, who had previously battled through a grueling three-set match against Jaume Munar, delivered a more dominant performance against Rinderknech, not facing a single break point throughout the match. This win marks Alcaraz's tour-leading 40th victory of 2025.

Alcaraz expressed his satisfaction with his performance, stating that he felt much better than in his first match and was happy to be playing at such a high level. He acknowledged the challenge posed by Rinderknech but was pleased with how he handled it. After capturing titles at the ATP Masters 1000 in Rome and Roland Garros, Alcaraz is enjoying the longest winning streak of his career. His confidence is high, and he feels he is moving well and hitting the ball cleanly. In the semi-finals, Alcaraz will face Roberto Bautista Agut.

Meanwhile, British hope Jack Draper also had a successful day at Queen's Club, reaching the semi-finals for the first time in his career. Draper defeated American Brandon Nakashima in a hard-fought three-set match, 6-4, 5-7, 6-4, in the Andy Murray Arena. This victory not only propels Draper into the semi-finals but also guarantees him a top-four seeding at Wimbledon. Draper will move to a career-high ranking of world number four, overtaking Novak Djokovic and Taylor Fritz. This ensures he avoids facing top players like Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz until the semi-finals at his home major.

Draper acknowledged the significance of reaching the semi-finals and securing a top-four seeding at Wimbledon, calling it an incredible position and a testament to the hard work he and his team have put in. He had to save a breakpoint when serving for the match but sealed the deal to set up a clash with Czech Jiri Lehecka. Draper expressed immense gratitude for the support he has received throughout the week. In the semi-finals, Draper will face Jiri Lehecka, who defeated fellow Briton Jacob Fearnley in their quarter-final match.
